This policy explains how Saqlain handles app permissions, support requests, diagnostics, and data used to provide Quran, AhlulBayt, prayer, audio, and SaqlainAI features.

Privacy Policy

Effective date: April 30, 2026

Information we collect

Saqlain may process app usage information, device diagnostics, crash reports, support messages, and feature inputs needed to provide app functionality. If you contact support, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your email address, device model, screenshots, and issue details.

App permissions

Saqlain may request location permission for prayer times, Qibla direction, and nearby religious places; microphone permission for voice search and SaqlainAI voice features; notification permission for reminders; and photo library access only when you choose related sharing or saving actions.

How information is used

Information is used to operate app features, answer support requests, improve reliability, investigate bugs, maintain security, and provide search or AI-assisted responses when you choose to use those features.

Third-party services

Saqlain may rely on service providers for hosting, analytics, crash diagnostics, notifications, maps, speech, AI features, or backend infrastructure. These providers process data only as needed for the services they provide.

Data retention

Support emails and diagnostic records may be retained as long as reasonably needed to resolve issues, improve the app, comply with legal obligations, and maintain operational records.

Children's privacy

Saqlain is intended for a general audience interested in Islamic learning. If you believe a child has provided personal information through support or app features, contact us so we can review the request.

Your choices

You can manage app permissions through your device settings. You may also use the Saqlain Data Controls page to request access, correction, deletion, or guidance related to your information.
